Blog Layout Template

Start with the point

Use this opening section for the main idea of the article. Keep it direct, useful, and grounded in the problem the reader actually cares about. For an ecommerce retention post, that might be the missed revenue hidden inside one weak lifecycle flow.

The goal is to give every new blog a useful rhythm from the start: strong intro, practical explanation, optional examples, optional images, and a clear takeaway. Delete any block you do not need for a specific post.

Text-only explanation section

Use this block when the idea does not need an image. Good blog posts do not need visuals everywhere. Sometimes a clean paragraph with a strong subheading is more readable and more persuasive than another screenshot.

Pullout note: use this for the one sentence you want the reader to remember.

Two smaller images with short context

Rich text images stack vertically inside the CMS editor. For a two-image comparison, place two image blocks one after another and keep the caption short so the reader understands the before-and-after without breaking the flow.

Quick checklist

  • Lead with the useful lesson, not the backstory.

  • Use images only where they make the idea easier to understand.

  • End with the action you want the reader to take next.

Close with the takeaway

Wrap the blog by naming the decision, framework, or next step the reader can use. When you create a new post, duplicate this starter article or copy these blocks into the new item, then remove the sections you do not need.

How this page works

This page is the reusable article layout. The post body below comes from the CMS rich text field, so each new article can mix headings, long-form text, pullout notes, lists, and inline images. Use the starter article in the Articles collection as a template, then duplicate or copy its blocks when creating new posts.
